Thank you for visiting our youth web page here at First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley.
Allow me to introduce my wife and I. My name is Andrew and my wife’s is Crystal.
We have been here on staff at First Baptist since the beginning of August 2005.
My wife and I share a common desire, to see teenagers not only saved; but grow spiritually in the Lord.
To many of today’s youth programs don’t address the spiritual needs of teenagers.
Teenagers at First Baptist are taught many spiritual truths through our School program,
such as Self-Discipline, Flexing Your Spiritual Muscle, The Word of God, and Purity.

Building a life for God is more gratifying then anything else the world might have to offer.
Don’t get me wrong; we also enjoy some good old fun too.
We do have monthly activities and also allow the teenagers the opportunity to be involved in the service of the church.
Here are some of the things we do in the youth group.
- Every 4th Wednesday of the month we have a teen service where the teens take the place of the adults in the service
- We have School @ 9:45 every .
- We attend monthly Youth Rallies
- Once a month we have S.N.A.C. (SNAC stands for Night After Church). A time for food, fun, and fellowship.
- Teens work on an existing bus route in the Fountain area.
- Have a teen day in Junior Church. This is a day where the teens do the singing, teaching, games, and puppets.
- Have at least two teen activities each month.

While this list is not the extent of our involvement, hopefully it gives you a little bit of an idea of what our youth do.
As a youth group we would like to see our teen class grow in size and our influence on the community increase.
We know this can only be accomplished if we put God first. We look forward to seeing you in teen class.
